(Wherein your humble author also prattles on about the Monopoly Man)
Some interesting thinking on how Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) may be causing bad password security. I'm not sure I buy the full argument, but SOX has certainly resulted in a lot of other problems, yet another example of good intentions leading to bad outcomes.
Unfortunately SOX will probably always be with us because no politician dares suggest repealing it. Anyone who suggests the repeal of SOX is portrayed like the little tuxedo-clad fat-cat on the Monopoly game board, a faceless chaser of greed with no perceptible humanity.
I, of course, wouldn't be caught dead wearing a tux. But I have to admit I love the little top hat. And I do admire that Mr. Monopoly (his official name) has seemed to get thinner as he ages, a feat I've not been able to manage.
